What Happens When 3 Photographers Shoot One Model?

Jul 05, 2019

Every photographer has a slightly different perspective than the other. It's the beauty of being a photographer - we all have our own creative eye. So what happens when three photographers come together to shoot the same model?

Nikon Ambassadors Bambi Cantrell, Charmi Peña and Vincent Versace assist each other and shoot the same model with the same camera - the new, mirrorless Nikon Z6 - and a variety of Z mount and F mount lenses.

“Each photographer using the same camera, sees the same scene with different results,” says Bambi Cantrell.

“It actually ended up being a really great experience to work with people who see very differently than I do," Charmi says.

Working with, collaborating and assisting other photographers is an effective way of learning more about photography and broadening your perspective. Whether through workshops, hands-on classes or photography events and outings, you're bound to learn something new or have a chance to capture something you wouldn't have tried at before.

Art's Cameras Plus looks to strengthen a photographer's creative eye and photography skill set through classes and events. Art's also has a local camera club - the FOCUS group - which is free to join. It's an exclusive photography group that hosts monthly events and workshops for photographers to take pictures, network, collaborate, and learn.

What do golf and photography have in common? A constant pursuit of the perfect shot, a sense of community, or maybe it's the love for being outdoors.
