Art’s FOCUS Group is a great opportunity for photo enthusiasts of all abilities to get together for monthly organized photographic tours and outings. Just register, show up, shoot and have fun.
We have visited breweries, the zoo, gardens, sporting events, nature walks, concerts, greenhouses, Doors Open Milwaukee, Big Cat Rescue, Pewaukee Wood Boat Show, Waterford Hot Air Balloon Fest, Forest Home Cemetery and winter festivals. Being with a group allows you to share techniques and experiences with other photographers.

Please join us to take a photographic journey into the wild with Tamron and professional photographer Jeff Allen on Saturday, May 6! Our destinations for this journey include the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue in Rock Springs, and the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo.
This is an all-day photo workshop. On Saturday, May 6th, we will meet up with Jeff in Baraboo, Wisconsin where he will lead us on an adventure shooting ferocious felines at the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue. Tamron will provide loaner lenses to help you capture the perfect shot, up close!
After lunch we'll head to the International Crane Foundation, the only place on earth where you can see all 15 of the world's crane species. Jeff will be on hand to answer any questions and guide us through the experience as we grow in our photographic skills.

Use the new 150-600mm Gen 2 super zoom, 70-200mm Gen 2 Telephoto lens or experiment with the versatile 16-300mm all-in-one zoom and the super-wide 10-24mm. Several other lenses will be available to try as well. Soft drinks and lunch will be provided by Art's at the Tamron Lens Checkout Area.
10:00AM-11:00AM Founder's tour: Come and learn the amazing story behind each one of these majestic cats directly from the people who have been here since the start.
11:00AM - 12:30PM: Wander the grounds to capture unique shots from all angles and try out any of the outstanding Tamron lenses.
12:30-1:00 PM-Lunch (Provided)
1:30 PM-4:00 PM- We will travel to and photograph at the International Crane Foundation. It is the only place on Earth where you can see all 15 of the world's crane species! We will enjoy a guided tour of the world's cranes and hike on the nature trails.
4:00pm: All borrowed lenses need to be returned to Art's staff.
