Snow Shooting Quick Tip

Snow Shooting Quick Tip

If you’d like to capture the winter wonderland in your neighborhood, consider including another element that can contrast Mother Nature’s chilly blanket. An entirely snowy image may not provide enough visual interest, but shadows can create a compelling addition to the composition. If you shoot early or late in the day, the sun’s low angle can cast long shadows and contrast to other aspects of the image. By adjusting your camera angle based on the sun’s position, it can change or impact your final result. This can serve as an amazing asset when experimenting with different approaches to your landscape imagery.

Other helpful accessories are our Promaster Rain-jacket to keep the sleet and snow away from your valuable camera and lens, Circular Polarizing filters are necessary to cut down on the glare and make your skies beautiful, and don't forget about having a good bag to get you and your gear there in one piece. All of our Think Tank bags come with rain-covers included!

Happy shooting this season, and stay warm from all of us at Art's Cameras Plus!
